Description

Dancing is a great way to participate in old-time music, and it’s fun to learn!

In this workshop we will explore the Appalachian percussive dance forms of flatfooting and clogging and how it is connected to string band music. In addition to the basics, we will focus on musicality, improvisation, and what it means to dance the tune. Everyone will pick up fresh footwork for the dance floor and get a fun cardio workout along the way. This class will be accommodating for all levels, come as you are.

Leather bottom or smooth soled shoes suggested.

Refund Policy

Full refund less 5% cancellation fee or full credit for another session of classes are available until 4 business days before your 1st class begins.
If you cancel your registration 2 business days before your 1st or 2nd class begins, a partial prorated school credit can be given.
If your class has met 3 times or it is less than 24 hours before your 3rd class, no credit is available.

The school reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration.

If the school cancel a class due to low enrollment or other reasons, you will be notified by email and/or phone before the class start date, and we will issue school credit. If you would like a refund, you must contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a refund. In the event of a canceled class, we would love to help you find an alternate instrument to learn!

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
