The Agent's Handbook: A Contemporary MT Workshop

Student enrolled in this class will enhance their musical theatre audition technique and highlight individual talent to help them nail it in the audition room.

Join Bicoastal Agent and President of Avalon Artists Group Craig Holzberg in his Advanced Contemporary Musical Theatre Workshop “The Agent’s Handbook”. Imagine having an agent and his resources at your fingertips.Craig will be accompanied by one of New York’s premiere Casting Directors, Stephen Kopel from Jim Carnahan casting, to offer insight and feedback to help you gain insight from a casting director’s perspective. On Sunday, November 17th you will bring in 32 bars of your best contemporary musical theatre piece. Craig will then, in a group workshop format, give each actor individual feedback to better their audition. The following Saturday you will use the feedback from your session with Craig in a mock audition for Stephen Kopel who is currently casting for Once, Beautiful, The Winslow Boy & The Glass Menagerie all of which are currently playing on Broadway. This is more than a workshop. It’s a community of actors lead by Craig Holzberg to help you on your journey in the audition room and out.
