Description

Steel Chair to the Head is a physical theatre workshop exploring what performers can learn from professional wrestling about storytelling through physical conflict. Using clown games, cooperative conflict choreography, and ensemble-based movement (no wrestling involved), participants investigate character archetypes, narrative logic, audience relationship, and the art of building “heat” and earning a “pop.”

Open to clowns, dancers, actors, and curious movers, this space invites artists to play boldly, move clearly, and rehearse intelligible images of struggle together.

A great tool for clowns, Bouffons, improvisers & sketch comedians.

Please Note:

This class may end 30 minutes earlier than scheduled depending on number of enrollments.
