What you'll learn in this comedy class:
This five week program will guide you through the most important aspects of writing and performing stand up comedy. In addition, you will be given all the necessary tools to begin the road to getting gigs and working in NYC clubs.
This program is a unique experience unlike no other in stand up comedy. Our small class sizes, expert staff, specialty classes and real stage combine to churn out comics that no school can match. We teach you not only how to be funny, but how to navigate the difficult world of NYC stand up comedy from a business perspective as well. Our producer and director Jeff Lawrence will be joined by guest instructors to give you a well rounded education and a support team that will guide you through all aspects of stand up comedy.
We are the only school that incorporates significant stage time into the curriculum. Comics have the option of performing in front of supportive, live audiences.

- 4th Tuesday - Hosting and Crowd Work
- 5th Tuesdays - Writing and Performing, Laughing Buddha Principles
Tuition includes:
- 5 workshops, each limited in class size giving you maximum time for feedback.
- Priority bookings on Open Mics and Shows
- A one hour private one on one writing or business session.
- An industry graduation show with a free high definition DVD of your set.
