Advanced Acting Scene Study

This class will teach beginners and advanced students to work with everybody. Test out their skills and see where they need to start the work. Learn to add Shakespeare and the other classics to your repertoire. Actualize their full potential by working with the best. An actor who has worked with everybody from Lee Strasburg to Al Pacino, learn to push themselves as an actor past where they think they can go and do it in the same studio as the actor's Studio.

About the instructor:
Thomas G. Waites is an American actor and acting instructor born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since the 1970s, Waites has appeared in over 30 television and film productions. Some of his credits as a television actor include NYPD Blue, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Oz, Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Jury. In film, he appeared in Unwed Father, State of Grace, And Justice for All, Gangland, An American Affair, The Warriors, and the John Carpenter film The Thing. He has been a member of the Actor's Studio since 1984. On Broadway, Waites was in Clifford Odets' Awake and Sing! and Howard Korder's Search and Destroy, and off-Broadway he appeared in David Mamet's American Buffalo among other productions.
