What you'll learn in this terrarium class:

Join us for an awesome evening of terrarium-makin’ and drink-sippin’!

Terrarium pro Claire Typaldos will lead you through the process of making your own mini universe inside glass. We’ll have all the terrarium fixins, including apothecary jars and hinged-lid jars, living mosses, shimmering sands, and extremely cute tiny figurines.

You’ll learn how to layer and plant a terrarium the correct way, including how to landscape a variety of mosses to create a tiny world with plant texture as well as hills, rocks, and even beaches. The most fun part is choosing from our selection of miniature figures–everything from lovers to convicts to dinosaurs–to populate your terrarium with tons of personality.

You’ll also learn the proper care of your terrarium and tricks to keep it thriving. Terrariums are perfect plants for apartment dwellers, as they like very low light and require almost no care at all!

Drinks included… because terrariums are always more fun with cocktails!

Refund Policy

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY

We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations.

If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a school credit if you notify us at least 48 hours before the workshop. We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 48 hours advance notice.

About Our Policy

Our workshops require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors -- all based on the number of students who register. When students ask to cancel or reschedule at the last minute, we lose money. As a small business, we are unable to absorb these costs and still keep our class prices low.

In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness or travel. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!

Thank you for understanding!
