What is Super Soccer Stars?
Super Soccer Stars class format is developed to give our budding soccer stars a familiar framework in which they can excel from class to class. Our classes begin with a welcome, incorporating a song. The classes then kick off with stimulating warm-up games followed by a muscle-warming stretch to get everyone ready for action. The bulk of each class focuses on skill-building activities and games. Individual, partner, and group activities are introduced in a non-competitive environment to optimize the experience for each child. Every session culminates in a 'scrimmage game' to familiarize each child with the structure of a game setting, while always encouraging our young kickers with positive reinforcement. Programs take place at our Kids at Work location on 20th Street, where we roll up the rug and clear out all furniture to create a safe playing area. For soccer, all children receive a kit of balls, cones, and props which are deep cleaned after class. It is the responsibility of the accompanying adult to restrict access to materials should they desire to.
Kids at Work has been a trusted community resource for over 14 years. Kids at Work has been operating post COVID since October 2020.
The Fine Print on KAW Drop-ins: Kids at Work maintains contact tracing of every individual who enters our space, for all classes. All participants will complete a health check and temperature check at arrival. Each person who purchases a drop-in package is required to sign our enrollment agreement and community commitment via docusign, which must be signed before their SECOND class with us. Drop-in reservations are FINAL as of 24 hours before a given class. Your drop-in package does NOT have an expiration date, but we will be reducing class pricing as we are able to open up more in the Fall, so we recommend purchasing classes for your Summer 2021 availability only.
