Class Description
Description
In Cinessentials, children will learn the fundamentals of filmmaking in a positive, creative, and team-oriented setting. Campers are encouraged to stretch their imagination and experiment with the basic techniques of filmmaking. Children will work together in a collaborative environment to make several short films.
Every child will have a chance to be the Director, Costume Designer, Camera Person, Lighting Technician, and Script Supervisor. Children work on original movie ideas, either writing them down or simply drawing out their visual tail.
Once the film is in the can, the children will work in teams to edit the film and soundtrack using professional programs including iMovie, Final Cut Pro and more. We make the process easy for all ages, and most importantly FUN!
Every session concludes with a film screening in the theater room, followed by an Academy Award Ceremony. Each child gets a copy of the finished film. Your child will have the experience of a lifetime making new memories with new friends!
Day Schedule:
