What you'll learn in this cheese tasting class:

Calling all cheeselovers! Whether you're an Epoisses expert or a Roquefort rookie, Cheese 101 is the place to be. We'll walk you through a tasting of seven families of cheese -- from fresh to bloomy to blue and everything in between -- so that you leave armed with the knowledge you need to approach even the most daunting of cheese counters and create a perfect cheese course of your own.

Every cheese has a story, and we'll explore each one, all while enjoying unlimited pours of our house sparkling and red wines to pair with your plate of our favorite cheeses at peak perfection.

Cheese 101 is recommended for ages 16 and up. Non-alcoholic beverages are available for those who are underage or just choose not to drink.
All tickets to Murray’s Cheese classes are nonrefundable and non-transferable to other dates. If you wish to transfer these tickets to an alternate party, please send us written communication to hello@coursehorse.com prior to 4:00 pm on the day of the cheese course. Great class, well worth the money, my only request would be to be told more about pairings. The teacher did say that there are classes dedicated to that and maybe if I have of asked I would have been told so won't hold it against the class/teacher. Everything else was spot on.

This was my first course through CourseHorse and I've been recommending the service all day. I was extremely pleased with the venue, format, and instructor at Murray's Cheese and had an amazing time. Will definitely be on the lookout for more courses.

Great introduction to cheese. The class offered a tasting of 6 varieties, which paired very well with the prosecco and wine. Bread, dried fruits and nuts were also available to pair with the cheeses. The instructor was very knowledgeable of the production and history of each cheese and offered great suggestions on how to enjoy the cheeses with other foods. Tip: Don't eat before the class!
