Description
What you'll learn in this millinery class:
Do you have a straw hat in your mind that you could never find? With this fun class you can create the hat that you always wanted with the expert instruction of milliner Lisa Shaub. In this 2 section 4 hour class we will explore blocking, finishing and trimming a hand made straw hat. In the first session, which runs 1 hour, Lisa will discuss basic blocking techniques and how to work with straw. You will be shown how to create a hat and block your own design. In the second session, which runs 3 hours, we will focus on finishing techniques, trimming, and style decisions. You will leave at the end of the second session with your own hand blocked hat. The second section is schedulled at a time that is convenient for the students.All materials are provided.
Refund Policy
In order to confirm your spot classes need to be paid for in full 48 hours before your class. That payment is non-refundable.
We allow 15 minutes grace period if you are late but beyond that you will lose class time. With 3 business days notice you may change your class time.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
