What you'll learn in this bag class:
In this Bag Making course, students will create a leather tote bag. Students will choose their leather and hardware and learn how to construct the bag from start to finish.
The bag making course includes tuition and all the materials needed to make your bag. Leathers will be available to choose from on the day. No experience necessary.
Please Note:
Class time may extend up to an additional hour if there are many enrollments, so please do not book bus or train tickets immediately after the scheduled end time of class.

Refund Policy
All classes and workshops are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Class Make-up Policy
For multiple-day classes, if you have to miss a day, you are responsible for getting the information that will catch you up on missed information during the class hours. Any additional time you will need to finish the project due to your absence shall be signed-up as a studio-hour session at a $150/day rate.
We take your safety seriously. With COVID-19, circumstances may change quickly, at the last minute. Please communicate with us, if you are traveling from afar. We expect that you will be healthy, and that if you feel sick slightly, you will let us know and we will postpone the course. We will have hand sanitizers, surface wipes, we will wash hands frequently, and each student will have their own tool box to use during the course. Any shared equipment will be cleaned in between use.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

It was such a productive class! The instructor at Brooklyn Shoe Space, Lorna was very helpful in coming up with a design I would like to make, and she was there every step of the way to walk me through the process. Class was hands on with cutting out material, sewing, applying hardware and the order of how things should be put together.
I totally lucked out and got a one-on-one with the instructor since the other student dropped the class! After 2 nights, I had a fantastic leather backpack, and would totally make more on my own!

I have to say that I am not satisfied with the class I took from Alex. Equal assistance to participants need to be distributed as we all pay the same amount. It is great to help one person but not in the expense of other participants. Half of the class time was spent waiting around or looking for materials. All the materials should be ready before the class time starts. Too expensive for what I learned....There are so many more classes that thought me much more.
