Discover the fascinating world of fabric texture and pattern creation in this hands-on workshop. Experiment with flour, wax, gum, and glue as resists, and learn techniques like low immersion, painting with dye, and pouring over. Unleash your creativity at Better Than Jam's Store & Studio.
Flour, wax, gum, and glue are all really interesting ways to create texture and pattern on your fabrics. In this workshop we will experiment with all of them.
We'll work with a variety of resists that benefit from maximum dry time, play with wax and dip that piece in an organic indigo vat, use brayers and screens to add texture, and set up our thickener for painting with dyes.
Low immersion, painting with dye, and pour over techniques will be shown.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
