The class was very good. Mindy taught in a very simple way so we could perfectly understand the basics of manual photo shooting. We are now in manhattan practicing and having really great results.

I took the beginner class with Mindy, and I cannot recommend it more highly! Mindy was a patient and informative teacher, and helped me understand the basics of what goes into a good photo. Recommend this course to anyone interested in photography who is feeling overwhelmed with their first camera.

My husband and I took this class to learn how to use our nice camera before traveling to Japan for our honeymoon. Both of us feel that we cannot recommend this course highly enough! Mindy makes photography seem fun, approachable, and intuitive instead of intimidating and difficult. She broke down the key areas that we needed to understand in order to use our camera in a comprehensive, yet easy to understand, manner. We highly recommend this course for anyone looking to gain familiarity and ease in using their digital cameras!

Mindy was a fantastic teacher. The class was small, which was a plus for me. She was approachable, knowledgeable, and an experienced photographer in her own right. My friend and I went together. It was a great start for her and a really good refresher course for me. Both of us came from slightly different starting off points, and still found the class to be very helpful.

Mindy is an incredible teacher who is truly dedicated to her students. She made the information incredibly accessible and her enthusiasm for the subject is infectious. Having had no experience with my camera, I left the class with a basic understanding of manual mode and felt confident with my knowledge. She provides just enough information without making the class feel "too technical". I cannot recommend this class enough.

Mike was great! I love how he provided a recap after each topic to ensure that I understood everything. He also touched on some “real life” information for photographers in addition to the curriculum which I appreciate. I felt comfortable asking whatever questions I had in mind.
