What you'll learn in this watercolor class:
Learn the beautiful art of modern watercolor brush lettering! In this workshop you'll learn beginner basics that will set you on your way to lettering everything from art pieces to holiday cards and more.
In this beginner-level class, your instructor Jessica Keala will begin by walking you through the basics of hand lettering with a brush and watercolor, while guiding you towards developing your own personal lettering style. Then, you'll work on your own pieces as you practice the dreamy, watery, multi-hued look that is the signature of this technique. By the end of class, you'll make your choice of a hand-lettered art piece, or a set of gift cards.

- Practice writing the alphabet with a brush and watercolor.
- Learn how to mix shades of watercolors and manipulate the paintbrush for different effects.
- Begin to develop your own lettering style.
- Practice writing words and phrases.
- Make finished piece(s) including an art print and/or gift cards.

We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations.
- If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit if you notify us at least 5 business days before the workshop.
- We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 5 business days advance notice.
In fairness to all of our customers, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness or travel. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
