What you'll learn in this drawing class:
“The Art of Nature”
…an outdoor workshop in contemplative sketchting in Central Park, NYC.
Just as mystics have sought meditative peace in the woods deep quietude, the natural world has also inspired artists of all cultures. They have applied their artistic skills to capture it with the techniques of sketching. The act of sketching requires concentration. Over time with skill, practice, and dedication, sketching can develop into a contemplative art. The artist is present in the here & now of the natural world and engaged with its artistic expression on paper. We will explore Central park's lovely Conservatory Gardens and take a short tour of the wild North Woods to capture nature's art by sketching with graphite, charcoal, or pastel.
The workshop is open to all levels, from rank beginners to advanced students and practicing artists looking to create and share their work in community.

Note: Masks are not required for those who are vaccinated.
Refund Policy
No refunds. The student must cancel or reschedule 4 business days before the class registered for and only one cancellation is allowed. No exceptions.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
