What you'll learn in this wood carving class:

Come down and spend the day learning the basics of hand carving wood. You can bring an idea for a sculptural or decorative object, or just improvise. You'll learn about different carving techniques, tools, tips for working with different types of wood, and about characteristics of wood like grain.

Your ticket includes your choice of a variety of hard, soft, local, and exotic woods.

Note: the picture above is one example of a completed carving that has been sanded and finish-coated, and is meant to show the application of carving skills. It does not represent what your piece will look like at the end of class.

Refund Policy

Full refunds less a 5% processing fee will be offered for cancellations that occur 32 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program).
Cancellations between 31 and 9 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class.
Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 8 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first) will not be refunded.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
