Java Programming Summer Program (High School)
I really enjoyed the goal-oriented nature of the course. Instead of only learning about the theory behind computing, we got a chance to apply what was being taught by writing code and putting everything together to build something practical. Also, we covered a wide range of topics aside from just programming like a little bit of computer hardware, files & file formats, and HTML. After taking this class, I feel like there are so many more possibilities and applications of computer science than I originally thought. Overall, I was really impressed with how well-designed the course was. -

It is a fast-paced program where the teachers do a great job of making sure everybody is keeping up. The projects and assignments were challenging and interesting as well. The only con for me was the age gap between students but it wasn't a big problem. -

Computer Science Summer Program (High School)
I learned a lot of Java in only 9 days. The instructor was a high school teacher and he's been teaching coding for almost 20 years. He was very patient with everyone and made sure everyone understood the content. We were given breaks and a nice long lunchtime. There were a lot of topics covered but it wasn't overwhelming. -

Computer Science Summer Program (High School)
My son attended the NextGen Camp during the summer of 2019 for 2 sessions in NYC. There are way too many positive things I can say about the staff and curriculum. Everything deserves 5 stars. Zach, the owner of the program was tremendously supportive, informative and knowledgeable about the computer science world. He advised us on what courses to take and even spent the time interviewing my son to see which program would be the best fit. He was just so patient and helpful. My son has been coding for years, but there were many gaps, we learned. The two programs he did helped him realize his holes, filled them and propelled him to learn more deeply about CS and stay passionate. What more can a camp do! If you are looking for a serious, real-deal coding camp with strong, friendly instructors who can communicate and teach - NextGen is the best summer computer science camp in the NYC area. -

Intro to Web Design with HTML and CSS
This was a wonderful course. Laura did a wonderful job of simplifying web design, a field full of its own specialized terms. She was open to every question I asked, knowing that the most important thing in the end was that we were on the same page. She maintained a professional attitude, clear teaching methods, and a caring side befitting of a private lesson. I recommend this course to anyone with even the slightest interest in web design. -
Intro to JavaScript
Stephen was an awesome instructor (even with the course being online). He appropriately paces the material and doesn't make you feel small for asking seemingly simple questions. I would definitely take this class again! -
Beginner SQL: Analyzing Data
Colin was extremely personable. You could tell he was really interested in the subject and had a lot to say about it. -
Beginner SQL: Analyzing Data

Squarespace Tutoring (Private)
Working with LYW Designs was a great experience. She was thorough and communicative throughout the process. One thing I really appreciated, which I think is a rare quality, is that she took the time to really understand where I was coming from and figured out how to create my vision. When you’re not super tech savvy or good at articulating your artistic vision for a project, it is a complete game changer to work with someone who can piece everything together for you and create something that really represents what you have in your head. She’s punctual, up front, honest, great at executing and teaching. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I learned during the entire process. I highly recommend working with her for any type of web design project you have in mind. -
Python for Data Science Immersive

Python Immersive
I started learning python on an online platform almost a year ago and felt that I had completely players like plateaued. I loved the Python immersive course and was able to learn much more in a week than I had on my own over the span of around 8 months. I now I feel fully confident in my ability to continue my python learning independently and I know where to turn when I'm ready to enroll in my next programming course. -
Python and Machine Learning Bootcamp Series
Jonathan was great. He is a patient and caring teacher. He really knows the material and it shows. The class got me back on track and I feel ready to move forward with my goals. -

Python Analytics Programming Class 101 NYC (Excel VBA)
Good class, Joshi was super-cool very nice instructor -
Python Developer Immersive
I loved the class a lot because of the fact that it was a week and able to compress all that information into it. I also liked the 10AM start, not too early. The 5pm end was a little late for my particular week that week, since I had things to do for about 3 days of the week and had to leave early. However, any week-long class will present that problem with trying to fit errands before or after the class. The teacher was very fast and he could type as fast as he could talk. I tried to keep up and coded along with him as he presented, which really helped with the hands on and understanding being able to actually see it run in front of me. This type of hands on also keeps me engaged versus just sitting there watching someone lecture. Sometimes I couldn't quite keep up, but all is good, I still got the main points and lots of information in a short time. The exercises were also good practice, but with me, it takes time and experience to be able to rattle off code with intuitive understanding, so I'm not worried about that yet, since with practice, I know it becomes second nature. Overall, I like the way Practical Programming teaches, and I'm thinking of taking more classes from there. -
SQL Bootcamp
Matt’s material was thorough and he took the time to make sure everyone was fully grasping the material -
SQL Bootcamp
Awesome class! The instructor is very patient and helping you debug all kinds of problems and answering all kinds of questions. -
Intro to Web Design with HTML and CSS
Great class!! Felt like I learned a lot and left it with some practical skills. -
Python Programming Class 101 NYC for Beginners
Python Programming Class 101 NYC for Beginners was a good class. Python coding training in NYC is the best at EBS. Am hoping to see other sessions on Data Science. Python training in NYC especially the one with small group (two or three) are hard to find. It is always a good idea to do some online udemy courses by Joshi who is the instructor before coming. -
Python Programming Class 101 NYC for Beginners
Python 101 and SQL 101 classes have been good at EBS. The good idea is these programming classes are very small group as compared to others in NYC which has bigger group. Python programming is not hard to learn if we are persistent and patience and do the HW. Am hoping to learn more data analytics and data science and looking for other options. Data Analytics in Python Pandas is something that I am looking forward. -
Intro to Creative Coding with Processing
Great course! Filled in a lot of questions and got me on the right path to continue my own curiosities. -
Python Programming Class 101 NYC for Beginners
I have taken the Python intermediate course with them. Their instructors and assistants are awesome, they helped me build my web project based on my requirements. They have also provided me with a program completion certificate. I will definitely come back to them and refer my friends.
