Neriage Wheel Throwing
The instructor was helpful, friendly, and patient; the atmosphere was collegial; and the materials were great -- I loved that we had our choice of several different colors. Most importantly, there was the most beautiful, affectionate dog joining us! :-) It was a really enjoyable class; I only wish it had been an hour longer to give us more time to practice. -

Pottery Wheel Throwing (Hell's Kitchen)
Never done this before and happy we tried this. It is definitely one of the hardest things I’ve had to do with almost nothing to show for it!!! Our instructor Amy was super patient and kind and gave clear instructions it’s definitely something you should take several classes to get better at. It was a humbling experience and I’m excited to pick up our pieces in a week. We had a lot of fun laughing at ourselves and getting clay all over and there was a lot of natural talented folks in the group who made beautiful cups vases and bowls. -

One Day Wheel Throwing (Williamsburg)
Wonderful instructor who made sure everyone left with at least one piece they were happy with. I do wish it was a 3-hour class though, between a long demo at the beginning and clean up at the end, the actual throwing time felt limited. -
Private Wheel Throwing Class for Two
The instructor was super supportive and the experience was a great time for my partner and me. -

Ceramics Wheel Throwing Class
We had so much fun at this class. Anna was a wonderful instructor! Neither one of us had ever done this before, nor can we call ourselves "artists" but we actually created some very pretty items. The 9th wedding anniversary traditional gift is pottery, so we signed up for this class to celebrate our 9th and we had a great evening together. I can't wait to pick up our finished pieces. Highly recommend! -
Wheel Throwing and Hand-Building + Painting - Turtle Bay (Midtown East)
Kaitlyn was wonderful! She was very patient and guided me every step of the way. I had a great experience. I look forward to working with her again. -
Pottery Wheel Throwing (Hell's Kitchen)
Great class, small and personal help. It’s tough to learn but I felt I learned a lot. I’m excited to get my piece. They were kind enough to ask if you wanted to make something specific and they helped me get to what I wanted. Only minor critique is sometimes when I asked for help, the teacher did it for me, but I wanted to learn to do it myself! All in all, I did feel like I did most of it myself though. I’m excited to see how it turns out! I recommend wholeheartedly. -
Pottery Wheel Throwing
This was the absolute funnest class! The teacher was so so so helpful. Many times I would struggle to get it centered and he would come over and help me do it. I am so excited to see my vase that I made next week. Such a fun class. Laugher from strangers all around. -
Private Wheel Throwing Class for Two
Such an excellent way to be introduced to wheel throwing! Our instructor Siri was excellent— she explained the process well, and was very helpful as we encountered new questions and created new problems. We made multiple pieces each, and while only one firing is included in the class fee, the firing fee for additional pieces is so inexpensive that we ended up deciding to keep everything we made. We may be back to take more classes and learn more advanced skills :D -
Pottery Wheel Throwing
Anna was a great instructor - gave very helpful demonstration and remained very attentive to everyone's projects -
Private Wheel Throwing Class for Two
Clear, friendly instruction, lots of attempts to play around on the wheel, in a large workspace where more professional people were working and lots of cool work on the walls for inspiration. Price felt exactly right. Very messy, very fun! -
Pottery Wheel Throwing
This was a great experience! My spouse and I were complete beginners, and had so much fun learning the basics. The class was full but only fits maybe 12 or so people, so it wasn't intimidating and there was always help when we needed it from one of the two instructors. The main instructor seemed to be newer than the other one, not as confident but definitely very skilled. 2 hours was the perfect amount of time! Make sure to ask for extra ideas/tips once you've gotten the basics - the only group instruction was for the basics, but some people seemed to get some very cool extra techniques from the instructors walking around and helping. -
Pottery Wheel Throwing
The instructor, Patrick, did a great job of explaining the basics. Had unlimited clay to use and would take the class again. -
Sip & Spin Pottery Workshop (Williamsburg)
This course was a lot of fun. Our instructor was amazing! We laughed out loud while learning valuable skills for our first time hand-throwing. They first do a demo, then walk you through step by step, and then let you have time to go for it yourself. I took my best friend for a birthday present, and we couldn't have been happier. It's worth every penny! -
Pottery Wheel Throwing
The people were welcoming and very knowledgeable. It was fun and I learned so much in just 2 hours. -
Pottery Wheel Throwing
Fun class with great instructor! -
Pottery Wheel Throwing
My family and I took the pottery class in New York City. It was an amazing experience. The instructors were very thorough and helped us a lot. We were very new to pottery and using the wheel, but they came around and helped us when we were lost. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning how to use the pottery wheel and basic techniques. -
Pottery Wheel Throwing
So worth it that we’re going to do it again with friends! My husband and I took a pottery wheel class to celebrate our anniversary, and it was absolutely fantastic! The teacher was lovely and incredibly helpful, guiding us through every step of the process with patience and encouragement. We had so much fun learning the techniques, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. When our pieces were glazed and fired, we were thrilled with the final products— they turned out beautifully. This class was a perfect way to celebrate, and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try something creative and fun! -
Private Class for Two - Valentines Special
Eleni was a highly skilled and kind teacher who easily walked us through the basics of pottery. Both me and my partner were pretty new to the hobby, so she met us where we are. I would consider the course a great value for the amount I paid, and would recommend it to anyone interested. If it were a recurring class, I would definitely consider taking it again. -
