What you'll learn in this lightroom class:

Get ready to understand & control Lightroom in a class with clear concise lessons using everyday language. Also for iPhoto & Aperture users making the switch. Led by two Adobe Certified Lightroom Experts, classes are small for personal attention, include coffee & pastries, a catered lunch & afternoon snacks in a comfortable, social setting.

So get ready to understand and control the Lightroom Library, get your imported photos organized, gain some super-serious Develop module skills, map your last trip and make a book as you graduate to the next level of digital file management and photo enhancement. 

Also, if you’re an iPhoto or Aperture user making the switch, Lightroom can be challenging, as it works quite differently. We can help you make the transition, showing you how to use Lightroom’s built in programs for importing these libraries safely. 

We'll provide a complimentary 32GB USB flash drive with practice work files and PDF documentation. Morning coffee and muffins, a catered lunch, and a late afternoon pick-me-up snack are also included.

After completing the lab, attendees will be entitled to a free half hour online consultation.

Prerequisites 

For this workshop and lab, please bring the following:
  • Wi-Fi enabled laptop (Mac or PC) with 25GB of free hard drive space, at least one working USB port
  • Three-button external mouse (optional - loaners will be available if you don’t have one)
  • The most recent version of Lightroom installed prior to course start (either Creative Cloud or version 6.0+)
  • Your current Lightroom Catalog(s) that has been backed up 
And you should have:
Working familiarity with your computer (know how to make a new folder, how to search for a file, you know the basics etc.)

Please arrive 30 min early to get set up.
