Accords can create illusions, add realism, and soften the rough edges of naturals - a perfumers secret weapon.

This hands-on introduction teaches you how to build your understanding of what accords are, how to construct accords and apply time-tested methods for success.

We will learn:

The Jean Carles Method - how to blend raw materials in varying ratios to learn their interactions and train your nose to recognize balance, contrast, and structure.

Analyze GC–MS data to understand the chemical structure of naturals and fragrance oils.

Construct accords - a balance of intuition, personal taste and methodical approach.

Refine your intuition and artistic direction through guided exercises.

By the end, you’ll walk away with a confidence in your own intuition, a systematic approach using the Jean Carles Method and tools of success to have your unique compositions shine.

Refund Policy

We offer to reschedule as needed 3 business days prior. There are no refunds, as we prepare ingredients and class materials beforehand.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
