Description

This class explores long-form improvisation.

Long form is a style of improvisation that can spin from a single suggestion from the audience. Long form improvisation relies more heavily on acting skills and ensemble memory. Some examples of long form improvisation include The Montage, Time Dash, Monoscene, and The Harold. Students will learn new forms and practice initiating and ending scenes, support moves, and callbacks and connections, as they learn to create a long form improv set as an ensemble.

The class culminates in an optional class sharing in front of an audience. You are welcome to invite friends and family to attend!

Prerequisite: This class is for students who have completed Improv II.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable (unless the school cancels the class).

Commitment is for the duration of the session. There are no credits or refunds for individual missed classes. If you discontinue any class before the ending date of the session, you forfeit your fee.

If you need to cancel a full class session (the full 6, 8, or 10 week class) for any reason, you must notify us by email at [email protected] at least 8 business days before the registered class start date, and we will apply a credit to your account for a future class. Credits are valid for one-year.
If a student wishes to transfer to a different class, they must notify us by email at [email protected] at least 8 business days before the first day of the registered class. No transfers will be allowed after this.

A student may not transfer to a different class once a class has begun.

The school reserve the right to change teachers at any time.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
