Discover the art of patient and grounded improvisation at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective. Learn how to build scenes brick by brick with your partner, embracing the journey and playing from a place of trust and patience. Open to all levels, this workshop will help you create impactful and authentic scenes.
We love fast and loose improv at BCC. But we also love that slow, simmering improv that has the confidence to take its time. In this workshop, we'll focus on improvising from a grounded, patient place so you can build one brick at a time with your partner, while getting out of fear to "get somewhere" in the scene. It's all about the journey not the destination.™️ Specifically, we'll explore:
Some improv experience preferred, open to all levels.
Class payments are non-refundable.
In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.
In the event a class fails to meet a minimum number of sign-ups (6 enrollments), students will be notified by email and given the option to transfer into another class, keep a class credit on the books, or offered a full refund - whichever is preferable to the student.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
