What you'll learn in this dressmaking class:
In this bridal and evening wear dressmaking intensive, a visiting Italian instructor, possessing years of experience in Sartorial techniques, is coming to New York to teach formal dressmaking - the Italian way. She will lead you through the entire process of creating a custom-made gown in just 2 intense weeks.

A special Italian Certificate of Completion shall be given at the end.

Q: Can I make up a class if I miss one?
A: No, but you'll be able to go over what was missed in the missed class in the next class. If you need more time, you'll have the option to book a private lesson with the instructor to further go over what was missed.
Q: Are materials provided and included in cost of the class?
A: No, a reference work book and a special hip curve ruler shall be provided, but the students will have to get their own tools and supplies.

- Fabrication
- Taking proper body measurements
- Creation of a made-to-measure paper pattern
- Pattern layout, pinning and cutting
- Basic to couture construction techniques
- Pressing and finishing
- Hand-stitched appliqués

Refund Policy
There will be no reduction of fees or full or partial refund for absence, late arrival, late registration, withdrawal or dismissal.
Cancellations by Us
If a course is cancelled or postponed by the school, you will be notified as quickly as possible. You will be given the opportunity to either use the credit for a later start time or transfer to another course. Otherwise, the full cost of your fees will be refunded to you within four weeks, under normal conditions. We shall not be liable for any other consequential loss.
Cancellations by You
Upon completing registration and enrollment, you agree to the terms and conditions and commit to any penalties resulting from your withdrawal or cancellation of classes/courses.
- Short Classes (1 Day to 8 Weeks):
- All cancellations made less than 2 business days prior to the start of a short class or less than 3 business days prior to a private lesson are non-refundable.
- Ongoing Programs (3 to 8 Months):
- After the start date, all students who withdraw from a program during the 1st month of class will receive a refund of 75% of their total payment. All students who withdraw during the 2nd months of class will receive a 60% refund. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GRANTED to students who withdraw after the end of the 2nd month of class.
Make-up Policy
We don't offer make-up classes, but the student is able to go over what was missed in the missed class in their next class. If the student needs more time, they are able to book a private lesson with the provider to further go over what was missed.
