This 5-week session will focus on creating more sophisticated palettes and painting the world in more engaging and unexpected ways. For painters who have a lot of technical experience who want to better define their style.

Painting an Unexpected Sea...How to avoid painting the typical painting of an ocean by looking at Etal Adnan. Lubaina Himid, Fairfield Porter, Mary Fedden and all about mixing cool ocean colors.

Inspired by Summer Wheat - Skewed worlds, strange perspectives and lots of vibrant colors & black
Inspired by John Singer Sargent- Fabric, shadow and mixing grays, creams and reds
Simplifying your figurative work - We will work with a live model as we experiment with simplifying the form
World building with cast shadows

Refund Policy

We ask for 48 hours notice for all painting workshops, painting parties and events if you would like to cancel and receive a refund. If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours notice we will try to find another, similar event for you to attend.

For weekly classes we cannot refund once the class has started unless there are extenuating circumstances. We ask that you provide at least a week's notice prior to the start of class if you would like to cancel a weekly class.

For children's camps we require a week's notice if you wish to receive a full refund or there is a $100 cancellation fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
