Had a great time, highly recommend

Fantastic class! I learned so much by experimenting through the guidance of Ms. Grey. Doing sample silk pieces with different types of silk, different types of leaves, different types of colors, and by seeing what others had done and asking about their own techniqueswith sample pieces. I'm so happy with my final scarf. I've now registered for other courses being taught by Ms. Grey. She is an outstanding, and fun instructor!

Wonderful class! The instructor Omi Gray was fantastic. She was patient, and had a great sense of humor. Her instructions were thorough and easy to understand. She was well prepared for the class. I loved the several practice samples we made. They allowed a lot of hands-on self instruction that ensured the final scarf would turn out great! Can’t wait for the Nuno Felt Scarf class in October with her.

Very pleased. The instructor was excellent and I was pleased with the Mosaic I did in this class.Class size was small and facilities were very good.

Excellent class! Grace is a talented artist and a fantastic teacher. She creates a very positive, supportive and even collaborative studio space.

I thought the instructor was always well prepared. She spent time answering everyone's questions and worked with everyone.
The class made you want to sew.

I really liked this class. I am so glad it was available for my taking. I do hope to take more classes with this teacher.
Maybe have some variations of this class? Rose with Color Pencil, Rose with Watercolor, Rose with oil or acyrilic, etc.
-
I thought you would get detailed instructions on how to paint with oil.
This was only the case in the first lesson.
After that it was just purely painting from still life. In total we should have created three paintings in five lessons which is impossible.
Therefore, we had unfinished paintings at the end of the course.
If you really want to learn how to oil paint I would not recommend this course.

I loved everything about the class, the space, the assignments, the homework But what was a real downer was the instructor’s attitude. While he was very punctual, professional, and excellent at drawing and did create fun assignments, he was unfriendly and seemed to hate his job. He would only reluctantly put his phone away to help if one of us asked for assistance and then would provide very good help but it felt begrudging. Overall I was put off by his attitude.

Splendid.

Such a great workshop! I learned so much

Outstanding class: small number of students who were all lovely, great guidance/instructions and tips by Grace Baley, many different designs to select from or you could create your own, superior selection of colored tiles and stones to use, length of class was exactly the right amount of time to have plenty of time to create and complete your mosaic. Grace was terrific in assisting me in making a highly customized mosaic, and I saw her doing this with each student. Five stars plus!

I was an electronics engineer and in my retirement I learned 3D-printing, laser cutting, advanced woodworking and more at a makerspace. But the makerspace didn't have sewing and I didn't know how to shorten pants or even use a sewing machine to stitch a top loop on the stretchy green-screen fabric I use for my ZOOM session backgrounds. I also want to change a flannel shirt or two that I have with tuck-in tails to flat-bottomed so I don't have to tuck them inside my pants. I have no desire to make clothes from scratch.
I now feel confident I can sew what I wanted to sew with what I learned in this course and some online research. The course had a relaxed friendly atmosphere and instructor Diana Rogers roamed the room giving each student considerable individual attention. After the first class, my wife and I finally ditched our 20-plus-year-old sewing machine that was giving her trouble, and purchased a new Singer sewing machine for less than $200 that is similar to the Singers we used in class.
I highly recommend this course.

Zach provided such an in depth explanation for the basic concepts/principles. I enjoyed his academic approach to teaching.

Teaching methods were inappropriate for an art course. Continuous questioning of students who rarely knew the answers made the course drag. Why not demonstrate - what happens when you mix X color with Y color? Show usOr even better, let the students try it out by working on scrap paper to see what happens when these colors mix.
Also, many in the class did not appreciate the instructors sarcasm, especially his negative comment about his students who are over 75. There were students in this class over 75. I don’t think ageism belongs in a program like this.
