What you'll learn in this writing class:

“Never be so focused on what you’re looking for that you overlook the thing you actually find.”  - Ann Patchett

The Ojai Retreat is a secluded 12-room enclave set on 5 bucolic acres and surrounded by mountains. It’s mid-October, and the weather couldn’t be more perfect. (Is there a word for that breeze that is warm and cool at the same time, so gentle that it feels almost too intimate?) You walk the paths of the retreat through the lavender and jasmine to the main house where supper awaits — a sumptuous, organic vegetarian feast paired with some of the region’s best wines. You greet your fellow writers and raise a glass to one another in praise of another day of productive work.
