This class and the studio were great. The instructor, Becca, is incredible. She is a skilled ceramicist and instructor. Instruction was well paced and everyone in the class seemed to be having fun, even my husband whom I dragged to take a class with me! This is the second class I’ve taken at Element Art Center (the other was stained glass) and I’d take a class again. Talented instructors in a fun and safe space. -

Nudge Ceramic Charcuterie Board
I took this class Sunday December 14. The instructors were great and so helpful. I didn’t have any wine as I was driving, but there was a plentiful spread of drinks and snacks for anyone who wanted to partake. Making the charcuterie board was so much fun, I can’t wait to see what it looks like. I highly recommend this class or others like it as a group or date activity. The center is also located in Chinatown surrounded by a lot of great restaurants. -

This class was really fun. Chloe, our instructor, was so kind and extremely supportive. She is an excellent instructor. Everything was kept running on time, everyone had a complete project and time to choose their glaze. She broke down the process and helped us all feel confident using the wheel and sculpting our items. She learned and remembered everyone’s names as well which was so impressive! I would definitely recommend taking other classes with her at the Elementary Art Center. -

I've taken many classes in verious venues around L.A. and this was by far my favorite. The teacher (Nicole) was great--able to demonstrate the project in a very easy to understand way, ready with solutions to individual goals, has an opinion if you want one, and generally made the class very easy-going and fun. Highly recommend!! -

Justin was a fun and informative instructor and helped us create our original pieces in an easy to understand way. We truly enjoyed learning this new art and our time in the class. I really enjoyed the Long Pose Figure Drawing class. The people there were really welcoming. It was my first time but I could tell there were a lot of regulars and it was a really nice creative atmosphere. Someone even brought treats because it was their friend’s birthday. The model was great, 4 hours in the same pose is no joke! I definitely will go again.
