Discover the Best UX Design Classes in Los Angeles

User Experience (UX) Designers user research and analysis of users’ interactions with digital products to design a website or app that provides an enjoyable, intuitive, and functional user experience. At every stage of the process, UX Designers are focused on the user. They interview users to define the problems that their products can solve, build interactive prototypes for user testing, and incorporate the feedback from those tests into the final design product. They are also often responsible for the design of the user interface (UI) that people interact with when they open up the product, as well as the structure of the interactions that users have with the app.

What makes UX design a valuable skill is the increasing demand for websites and apps in every industry. To be successful, almost any business must have a strong website, and many businesses are also finding it advantageous to create custom apps for their patrons. Digital design is always more effective when the designers focus on the user’s experience. So companies both within and beyond tech are coming to understand how vital it is to hire good UX Designers.

UX design is a great career for many reasons. UX Designers are in high demand, which makes the job both well-paying and secure. For those with creative interests, too, UX design can provide an outlet for that creativity and the skills that accompany it, in the context of a stable career. Plus, UX Designers get to create a positive experience for other people as they go about their day.

#1: Beach Coders Academy—Ultimate UX User Experience Design Immersive

In the Ultimate UX User Experience Design Immersive from Beach Coders Academy, students discover the techniques and tools that will allow them to design digital products that are functional, intuitive, and enjoyable to use. In Beach Coders’ view, UX lives at the intersection of research, content strategy, information architecture, interface design, and usability engineering. During their studies, students will explore the history, theory, and language of UX design. They start with the basics of design, agile and lean project management methodologies, sitemaps, and UX research.

Next, the course covers taxonomy, navigation, and task analysis. Students discover responsive design and the techniques that make it possible for the same site or app to function optimally across different devices. They also learn product management, content strategy, and business analysis. They then move on to making wireframes of their designs, prototyping on paper, and usability testing with hi-fi prototyping in Sketch. They also explore interaction design and the art of writing error messages.

Finally, students examine the UX career path in practical terms and discover how they can further their UX education. As their final product for the course and the first case study of their design portfolio, students create a capstone design project that showcases their knowledge and skills for potential employers.
