Flavia Nascimento

Teaches at Roda Movements

Flavia was born in Belo Horizonte, in Minas Gerais, Flavia has 15 years of dance experience and participates in dance workshops offered in events such as FIT: Festivas de Arte Negra (Black Arts Festival) as well as in the Cultural Centers where she lives. In these workshops, Flavia has taken instruction from well-known dance instructors such as Marlene Silva, Evandro Passos and a very important African dancer, Germanie Acrogry. Nascimento was a part of the Cultural Center Tambolelê where she practiced Afro-dance and Samba, with the instructor Jussara Ferreira  five years.
