Teaches at Santa Monica College

Ashley Chatman is a proud professional Dance Fitness instructor who has been a huge dance fanatic since 2006, earning years of professional training in Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Latin and African dance. While taking classes as a student, she fell in love with teaching and decided to become a certified Dance Fitness instructor in Zumba, Cardio Dance and Afrovibe to help other dance lovers achieve their health and fitness goals. What she enjoys most about teaching dance is that it doesn’t feel like exercise: it just feels like everyone is partying and having a good time, but are really toning, burning calories and sculpting bodies to fitness. She has taught hundreds of students throughout the LA area, many of whom experienced amazing weight loss results. She was recipient of the “Best Zumba Instructor in Los Angeles” award from the California State Assembly’s Office in 2013.
