Loved the class and the teacher.
Alyssa Kress is a fantastic and attentive teacher. Not only did she read each and every homework assignment (plus whatever other writing we wanted her to read), she handed everything back with kind compliments and fantastic leading questions. I got SO MUCH out of this class!

Wonderful class! The instructor was extremely clear. I felt encouraged, while hearing constructive feedback, and It was especially helpful to hear which specific issues to tackle in my painting. I grew a lot in a short time.

This was a good class. I learned a lot of techniques and skills. The teacher has a Bob Ross style. He mainly paints and you learn by watching. He is constantly changing what he does and adapting which although frustrating to some, helps the student learn to “go with the flow”.

Freddie,
I have enjoyed the Sunday watercolor classes because you are enthusiastic, intentional in instruction and lead us through a watercolor composition that allows each of us to be successful no matter our depth of experience. The course has been fun.
In my case, this is a new experience and I have learned a lot about watercolor techniques and composition. My granddaughter anointed me the “Word Grandma” when she was 4 (she is now 14) as writing is my medium. The Pandemic gave me the opportunity to try a different mode of creativity and I’m loving it and will continue with drawing and watercolor courses.
Thank you for opening the door for me to welcome watercolor into my life.

They did a really good job with teaching! The only thing was due to it being online some people had to call in and one woman really slowed down class constantly. Maybe try a different class format in the future or a different way so people have to physically be online and not just call in.
