Borislav Goynatsky graduated from Moscow University of Chemical Technology majoring in engineering and minoring in industrial design.

After 10 years of designing industrial equipment, decided to enter a field of jewelry. Goynatsky took classes at FIT and worked for jewelry houses like Stephen Dweck, Seaman Shepps, Deirdre Featherstone, Marilyn Cooperman, prior to starting his own company BG Art, Inc.

Teaching experience includes FIT, Craft Student League, Studio Jewelers Ltd and his own workshop.

Wax Carving (All Levels)

You basically pay just for renting a workbench. There is no teaching of wax carving. It's just an open studio where everyone works on their project and sometimes the "teacher" looks at your piece and helps you, if he's not lingering in the hallways. There was no introduction or guidance, no explanation of the tools that we had to buy. For me it was a waste of time and money. I did not learn anything.
