What you'll learn in this notary training:

Prepare for the NYS Notary Public Examination administered by NYS Department of State

This Notary Public Exam Preparation course is designed to prepare students to take the New York State Notary Public Exam and become commissioned as notaries. The course examines the duties and responsibilities of the notary as a public official and provides a comprehensive analysis of the relevant sections of the New York Executive Law, Real Property Law, Banking Law, NY Civil Practice Law and Rules and Public Officers Law pertaining to the Notary. Information will include how to register, what to expect on testing day, proper fees, sample exams and the most recent changes to notary law including remote notarization and new changes starting in 2024.

Whether you choose online or in person Notary class is up to you! The material and the live instructor are the same. So choose what works best for you!

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

School Notes: Please don't forget to bring a valid ID. Students registering on or after the first day of class shall be assessed a non-refundable late registration fee of $10.00.

Refund Policy

Tuition refunds are calculated in accordance with the Tuition Refund Policy for those students who officially drop a class or classes during the first three weeks of the semester. Fees are not refundable.

Drops prior to the first day of the semester: 95% Tuition Refund
Drops during the first calendar week of the semester: 75% Tuition Refund
Drops during the second calendar week of the semester: 50% Tuition Refund
Drops during the third calendar week of the semester: 25% Tuition Refund
No refund after the third calendar week of the semester.

Tuition will be refunded 100 percent for those courses which, at any time, are cancelled by the College. Failure to attend class, merely giving notice to the instructor, or stopping payment on a check is not considered an official drop or withdrawal.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
