Meredith Lewis

Teaches at Continuing Professional Studies at Bank

Meredith Lewis, MS, worked at NYC’s Administration for Children’s Services, Division of Child Care and Head Start as Chief of Staff to the Associate Commissioner for Program Development. Meredith began her career in education as a Resource Room Teacher. She transitioned to Jumpstart for Young Children, and then Bank Street College’s Center for Early Childhood Professionals (ECP). As a staff developer, Meredith designed professional development workshops and provided on-site support at both the classroom and program level. In addition, she worked with Quality New York, an accreditation facilitation project that supports early childhood programs to attain NAEYC Accreditation. Ms. Lewis has an MS degree in Special Education from Hofstra University and a BA in Psychology with concentration in Elementary Education from Lycoming College.
