Jasmine Lord

Jasmine Lord (www.jasminelord.com) is a Los Angeles based videographer, AC and photographer. Jasmine regularly shoots videography on the runway of Fashion Week New York, Toronto, Miami and Sydney, Australia. Jasmine's stills work has seen her shoot high profile restaurants in Los Angeles for the David Meyers Group, small businesses, two Margaret Floyd books, and recently for Women’s Studies Quarterly’s contributor Johanna Blakely. She has a passion for cinematography and a background as a camera assistant, having worked on numerous short films, indie features, documentaries, commercials and music clips.  In 2011, her artistic endeavors with low-fi photography were featured in Filter Photo Festival in Chicago with two of her images shot on plastic lens cameras featuring in the juried exhibit.  Her study of screen and stage at Charles Stuart University along with prestigious internships at AFTRS and ARRI Australia help inform a sense of movement, truth, and poignancy in her work.  In addition to teaching low-fi photo classes at Lomography West Hollywood and Santa Monica, Snapshop!, and The Julia Dean Photo Workshops, her boundless energy and enthusiasm sees her creating meaningful and captivating projects with her friends in her free time.
