What kind of oven are you using? Convection or convention?

Hi Kim! The chef uses a convection oven but it works well as a traditional oven (no fan setting) as long as you bake at the right temperature, you are fine. Hope this helps!

Is there a vegan version of this class or would I be able to attend this class but make adjustments so that my macarons would be vegan?

Hi there! There is no adjustment possible for vegan macarons. The macaron shells are made with egg white (meringue) and the filling is chocolate ganache made with heavy cream. Thank you.

I thought chef vincent did an excellent job in showing how to make basic french macarons using the proper tools, tips and was very knowledgeable. He has great energy and you can tell he has a passion for it. I would defitnitely recommend taking his class of you are a beginner or need help with troubleshooting, like me lol.

Vincent was amazing! Well prepared and efficient. It was a small intimate class (I didn’t know what to expect when I signed up). I loved that it was a small class! Vincent was able to customize the class to us and all of our questions were answered. It wasn’t intimidating at all. Plus being able to be hands on was great! He was so nice and thorough, and shared his recipes!
