    If I could give the NAPCA six stars, I would. My wife and I attended the Chicago Pizza class just tonight, and it was well worth the price. Chef Leo Spizzirri taught the class, and he was super engaging and interesting to listen to. You could tell he had a LOT of experience making dough, sauce, and of course pizza. He was patient and had thorough answers to everyone's questions. The facilities themselves were beautiful and state-of-the-art. The front, where the class was held, was inviting and made you feel at home. There were also areas for professional training and for cooking the pizzas in the large ovens you would expect a place like this to have. While making the pizzas was lots of fun, it was even more fun to sit at the counter and enjoy them while taking to Chef Leo and his business partner, Chef Anthony. I learned that they also offer technical classes, like knife skills, and even had a camp for kids during the summer. I would definitely go back for another class and hope to see others in the Western Suburbs take advantage of such a cool, local experience.

    I got the class for my father as a holiday gift and we loved it. The dough was already made (it takes at least four hours to make/rise), so we pressed the pre-made dough, added our own toppings, and waited for it to cook (about 15 minutes.) While we waited we had ample wine and a small arugula salad. The class was really short though. It would have been nice if it was a little quieter and each of the guests could have asked the instructor more questions.

    I took the pasta workshop at The Chopping Block and had a great time. The class was hands-on, from making the pasta from scratch to rolling it out, cooking it and eating it. Chef Joey Hahn was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us about knife skills and cooking techniques. The dishes we made were delicious and there were tons to take home after.

    One of the most fun things I've ever done. The class was orchestrated excellently by our two chefs, Aida (also designed the class) and another pretty woman whose name I cannot remember. I went by myself, but I would highly recommend this as a date night. The last 45 mins of the 3 hour class were spent relaxing, drinking, and eating the food we had made. You get to take home leftovers. Most wine is sold by the bottle with just 2-3 being offered by the glass.
