Reviews for Life Skills Training in Chicago

Life Skills Training in Chicago are rated 4.4 stars based on 288 verified reviews from actual CourseHorse.com purchasers.

  • The instructor was very knowledgeable and took their time explaining every aspect of the course. They definitely made you out feel comfortable. I look forward to future classes.
  • I would recommend this class 100%. It was a lot more than I thought it was going to be. I would recommend anyone who wants to sharpen their skills. This is the place to go. My teacher was excellent.
  • Doug was very knowledgeable and shared many gems. We've all been discussing with others, how much we learned. I would absolutely recommend.
  • Loved this class!
  • Sara is great. We had a fun group. I wish this was a two part class so we could go more in depth.
  • This was my first experience but I have done a lot of research on forest bathing. Sally did a great job! She is so kind and generous and even stayed a little after to talk to me about how I am trying to set up a business of my own around forest bathing. My only suggestion is that the gardens provide a detailed explanation on where to find the group. I was 15 minuets late because I am not the greatest map reader and had to figure out where to go once I parked. Maybe drawing on the map or suggesting a specific parking lot would help. It was a beautiful day and I am SO glad I attended!
  • Everything was very good Many thanks Greetings from Prague, Czech Republic
  • Excellent class with immersive interaction. Very informative as well.
  • Sarah, our instructor was fabulous! Really fun class for beginners and I left a lot wiser and more empowered to trust my intuition.
  • A lot of information. Willie was very knowledgeable, would love if this was a series for bee keeping

  • Really Fun and exciting The instructor very nice and patient Will Do it Again.
  • The Make a Bonsai class at the Color Cocktail Factory in Pilsen was pretty cool. The venue was lively on a Saturday night, with multiple classes happening simultaneously. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. The instructors were all friendly and helpful (maybe spread a little thin though). My partner and I enjoyed our class as well. It was an interesting way to get creative, enjoy a few beers, and go home with a tiny tree. They imparted us with the skills to make more bonsai (if I fail to keep this round alive). I'd recommend the class. You will get a little dirty and poke your fingers some though, fyi.
  • The instructor was very thorough. He constantly referred to items in the book provided. He was very patient in answering questions and pointing out mistakes. I would recommend his class to anyone interested in learning bridge.
  • Great teacher. Incredible class
  • Fun, comprehensive, and very spiritual. Our instructor definitely knew her stuff, she's the real deal as an astrologist and tarot reader. When we were there she broke down how both are intertwined and helped us delve into our signs, and houses and such (I'm a real novice!). It was very informative, after that we were walked through a reading that was incredibly accurate for our first time! I can't explain the class well enough except to say if you're interested in either astrology, tarot, spirituality, or just something different, you should take this course.
  • Great experience! The instructor was very warm and welcoming and very helpful. Great girlfriend time. Definitely will be going again.
  • A fascinating course with a gifted teacher.
  • The class was very informative and the teacher was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommended it to anyone interested in this topic.
  • Sharon was terrific. First time taking a class- can’t wait to take another!
  • Great class!!
  • Great Class...
  • Great Tour led by Jessamyn! Fun and interactive (played games) and learned a lot too.
  • Jessamyn was awesome. The whole experience was well... badass! Matt and Dani Nessetti
  • The instructor was very knowledgeable and kept the subject matter interesting.
  • I learned so much and have a greater understanding of how to plan my next garden.
  • Tea and Qi

Wonderful teacher and wonderful experience! I learned a lot and had fun !
  • Zen Shiatsu is an awesome place! The class was great and very informative. They also offer a massage licensing program which is cool. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in learning more about the human body or for continuing education classes.
  • This class was a delight! I learned so much. It is an intensive class, so expect to spend time out of class studying, but also expect to come away with newly gained understanding of the plant world and how much we rely on it.
  • This class was a lot of fun. The instructor was very approachable and obviously has a passion for fencing. The progression from stretching, to games, to fencing was paced perfectly. It was certainly enjoyable and has peaked my interest for learning more.
  • Great class, lots of information, passionate instructor Kris, small class, interesting venue...that’s it.
  • Excellent class. Great teacher.
  • We had a great time and learned so much! It was well worth it!
  • Great class with an opportunity to practice
  • very informative
  • All i can say just try it it's like money in the bank

  • A great intro to the exciting world and language of bridge, especially for those familiar with other trick/trump card games. Very knowledgeable, no-nonsense instructor. Highly recommend this as an intro to a new hobby!
  • The most amazing workshop I have ever attended in my life! It literally transformed my life! And I am not exaggerating when I say that! Everyone HAS to take this workshop class! You will not regret it at all!
  • The instructor was awesome! It turned into a mini therapy session as we discussed methods to deal with anxiety and fear. Siting and walking meditation were great. Highly recommend!
  • It was a wonderful tour. Ali made it interesting all the while learning a lot. She is a great teacher and it was a lot of fun. Hope to do another tour:) Karen Parks
  • The class was very informative - a lot of information in the 2 hours! The teacher was great; he encouraged questions and was very engaging and entertaining.
  • This class is a great place to begin if you can’t swim at all, or if you were casually taught and never learned the mechanics of a freestyle. They separate the group into two by ability, so those that have more fundemtnals can move at a quicker, technical pace. Those that are hesitant to be in the water are eased in at a pace that is comfortable for them. Great, friendly instructors!
  • I was a wonderful experience for our whole group!
  • I thought the class was well designed and structured.
  • It was very fun and informative, instructor gave me information about a fencing club closer to home and I am pursuing that option now. Would highly recommend if you are interested in the sport.
