  The workshop was interesting and fun. Shari welcomed us warmly and was extremely professional. Her explanations at the beginning were very clear, and she guided us through every step of the process. The atmosphere in the studio was pleasant throughout, and Shari encouraged us to be creative and was open to every idea we had. Highly recommended!

  I had a great experience in the screen printing class! Duff is a great instructor who is very knowledgeable and always kind and helpful. The environment he's curated there is very supportive and welcoming to everyone enrolled. I'd recommend Duff's class to anyone wanting to learn screen printing.

  I had never done screenprinting before and Shari was a great teacher. Very knowledgeable and patient. My friend and I had a great time and would definitely do this class again. We both walked away with 2 fun shirts that we can't wait to wear!

  First, if you're interested in doing your own design in this class, it's not going to happen. The description says you can but it would take up too much class time and this is just an intro class. HOWEVER, the pattern they do provide you is really pretty and the choice of glass they provide to make your masterpiece is awesome. The instructor I had, Isabel, was super knowledgeable and she was really approachable. Some teachers are intimidating and you're too scared of them to ask questions but Isabel was really sweet and kind. Last thing: you pay for the class up front and you pay for the materials day-of. If you want your stained glass creation framed and hung by a chain, it'll cost extra. That's not a complaint, it's just good to know if you're looking at the price of the class/creation.

  Overall very informative. The teacher was great at answering questions. She was direct, to the point, and could articulate what you needed to know within 4 sentences. This is not a negative, she knew her craft so well that she understood the best way to phrase things to beginners. Before taking this class the idea of cutting glass or soldering were intimidating. Now I've done both and trying again doesn't seem scary at all. I actually look forward to it. My only critique would be that I'd have liked a bit more ventilation in the workspace itself, but it was cold outside that day so I can understand why the windows stayed closed. The folks at the center itself were very nice. I arrived early and they let me wait inside where it was warm. I would definitely recommend this class to other people thinking about taking up stained glass. It's a good condensed class for beginners to get a feel for the process and skills involved.

  The class was very good. The instructors were knowledgeable and communicated very well. The location and length of the class was also good. Recommendations: thanks f the class has a couple of more intermediate and advanced levels that will be great.

  Duffy was very informative, and patient. He was able to answer all my questions and more. Highly recommend this class to any artist trying to learn another way to display there art!

  This class was cool! I didn't know what to expect with the wine bottle cutting but it was a pleasant and cool experience! Just make sure you pick a wine bottle with a flat bottom. I didn't and it kind of made it difficult for the candle process but my candle still turned out good! I took my mom and her friend for her birthday and they also had a fun time. Everyone should experience this class. I'll be back!

  Isabelle is an excellent instructor! She gave lots of tips and demonstrations throughout the class. As beginners, we learned to hold the cutting and soldering tools properly. She had lots of beautiful glass. We enjoyed the class so much.

  Instructor was very detailed on how to cut your own wine bottle and wanted to make sure you understood how to do it on your own if you wanted to repeat the process at home. Really fun class and would definitely recommend it to all my friends!

  This was a great class. I loved the pace of the class and leaving with a finished product. The instructor had an impressive background and has clearly streamlined the curriculum and their approach based upon what works. She was very good at accommodating people who worked more quickly or already had experience; this freed her up for assisting people who had fallen behind later in the workshop. The COVID protocols were good, but led to less socializing and more independent work, with which I was fine. The space was not a studio, but the instructor did a good job of bringing the necessary materials and tools. I would definitely take another class from this instructor.

  Fernando was great, excellent at giving instructions and helping us make our candles. He has a fair amount of interesting wine bottles or you can bring your own and make whatever size candle you desire (within reason) The 2 hours flew by and we even ran a little long.

  Throwing was a lot of fun. This was my first time. The weather was pretty bad so half the class showed up which was nice because we all got a lot of individual instruction; Liz was great! Wish this place was closer. I would definitely be a regular.

  My sister and I definitely enjoyed the class. Our instructor Geof was very knowledgeable and helpful. I will likely sign up for other classes including the 12 week beginning lathe class. I do have one issue. The photo on the class description for this class is very deceiving and kind of false advertising. Not knowing how long the process actually takes to make a bowl, I thought we would be making a large “salad” bowl because that is the photo that was on the sign up and description page. No where did it say the finished size bowl we would be creating for 140.00. It would be nice if the photo was of a bowl that is made during the class. I have taken a photo of my sisters’ and my bowl if you need an actual photo. Please let me know if you would like to use this photo on your sign up sheet. I will try to email it to the above email.

  This small family owned candle making company distributes their beautiful candles Nation-wide. Each glass container and candle is crafted by hand and yet, they find the time to share their mastery with us. So generous!! The class was perfect, I learned a lot and am inspired to make my own candles at home.

  Fernando was a kind, funny, and patient teacher! It was really cool to learn about this process (and a great arm workout too, ha ha). Made for a great birthday present for my friend, and both got to take home a keepsake of the experience. You get to choose your bottle, wax color, and scent -- so it's really personal. A great way to make use of a special wine bottle too.

  This class was so much fun! Creating a candle of your own liking is wonderful. By that, I mean you get to pick the scent you like and in addition to that, you can also make the wax a color you want from what is available. Pleasant afternoon with my daughter. Will definitely do it again!!!
