What you'll learn in this intro to programming class:

For adults who are interested in learning to code...or think they might be interested in learning to code...now's your chance in a stress-free no-judgement learning environment! This crash course teaches what it truly means to code, allowing students to develop their problem-solving skills using a hands-on approach in fun and interactive ways.

Students learn all of the critical fundamentals of programming, including syntax, code commenting, control structures and overall readability. Students begin with the use of the Karel programming language - our school is one of the only certified providers in Colorado teaching this educational language from Stanford University - a required course for incoming Stanford freshman. If you have attempted to learn online, have gotten too frustrated and have maybe even thought that programming is not for you...then this class is for you. We'll get you going fast and build a foundation for you to build upon for the rest of your future. This IS the first step!
