Following the disciplined Six Sigma DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) road map, this course teaches you how to collect and analyze performance data, identify inefficiencies and problems, pinpoint root causes, and institute new protocols to greatly improve processes. In addition to teaching the complementary methodologies of Lean and Six Sigma, this course also provides skills in leading teams through the process of change.
Students will attend 4 hours per day of the live instructor-led virtual classroom via the Microsoft Teams platform and blend this learning with Lean Methods’ state-of-the-art online Black Belt course. The course is designed to be accelerated through six weeks of virtual classroom training. Students may utilize their personalized project coaching hours as they wish e.g, studying for exams, project work, or a specific chosen topic.

Certification
Requirements for Certification:
- Proficiency of at least 70% on exams
- Submission and acceptance of Black Belt project
- Attendance in the virtual classroom with active participation
Certificates Received:
- Upon completion of the virtual classroom, students will receive a “training completion” certificate for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
- Upon meeting the certification requirements above, students will receive a “Certificate of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification”
**Students seeking certification through IASSC must successfully sit for and pass the IASSC exam. Lean Methods Group’s Black Belt course, quizzes, and exams prepare the student for the IASSC exam based on their Body of Knowledge. Lean Methods Group’s exams are included in this course, so students have the opportunity to certify through both institutions.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
