3D Printing or additive manufacturing is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. 3D printing, or additive manufacturing, is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. Join us for an enriching fun learning session to understand the basics of 3D printing.
Day 1 - Intro to 3D Modeling and 3D Printing
Day 2 - Digitizing your Design
Day 3 - Preparing and Exporting a 3D Model
Day 4 - Design Tips and Designing your 3D Model
Day 5 - Uploading Your Design, get ready to print.
Note:
You do NOT require a 3D printer to enroll in this course. We teach simulation of 3D objects and we can get it printed and ship it to you if you are interested. We have an option for a wide range of ages to join the course as we would like to give an opportunity for every student who did not have a chance to learn to code. With that said, we go by skill, age when we bring in students into groups. We group them according to their skill level to make sure they progress well in the camp. We try to maintain 1:6 teacher to student ratio.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Join us for an enriching fun learning session to understand the basics of 3d printing. This course will teach you the basics of 3D modeling and printing, converting images to 3D models and critical basic concepts.
Ours are instructor lead programs where content and instructions will stay with the pace of the student unlike video sessions. They are interactive and can help student debug issues by looking at the screen and engage them.
