Ricky Corado came to LA by way of El Salvador and became a salsa instructor in 2000 in Los Angeles soon after taking his first salsa class. Since then he has never stopped dancing and he has been teaching thousands of dancers in town, some of whom are now teaching and competing. His smooth style, impeccable timing and dance musicality have earned him the "Rico Suave" reputation in LA. Salsa, he believes, is more than just a dance or genre, it's the identity of Latinos around the world and a cultural movement. Ricky combines elements of LA, Mambo and Cuban styles of dancing to produce a powerful and true "salsa" recipe. His passion for dancing and love for salsa music is what you are injected with when you take Ricky's classes. His goal is to keep the salsa movement alive and bring out the best dancer out of everyone.
