Emily Chang

Teaches at Circle of Musical Friends

Emily Chang is a Licensed Avatar® Master and Kindermusik Educator, and Certified Simply Music Piano Teacher. Believing in the value of early childhood music education, Emily sought to bring her love of music and young children together with the establishment of Kindermusik with Ms. Emily. She currently teaches classes in San Gabriel, Arcadia, and South Pasadena. She has been offering private piano lessons, music theory, aural skills, and sight-reading to students of various ages since 2002. Emily studied with Professor Dennis Thurmond at the University of Southern California, where she received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. She is also a member of the Music Teachers' Association of California.
