Kate Savage

Kate Savage is an oil painter living and working in Venice, CA. The majority of her artistic training was acquired while studying under Nelson Shanks at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia, PA, where she was also an instructor. Kate has also studied with Dan Thompson, Michael Grimaldi, Rob Liberace, Jon deMartin, Deane Keller, Steve Early, Darren Kingsley, Lea Wight, Frank Porcu, Vadim Zanginian, Rey Bustos and Jeremy Lipking. Kate has shown work at the Salmagundi Club in New York City, The Bennington Center for the Arts in Vermont and the Union League of Philadelphia. Her notable portrait commissions include NFL athletes, Governor Paterson of New York State and President Barrack Obama. Kate came to live in California after a 6-month cross country landscape painting road trip.
