David Alvarado

A Native of Los Angeles, David Alvarado began his artistic training soon after high school at the New York Academy of design. Inspired by the vast 19th and 17th century collections housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, david chose to further his education in Florence, Italy at Charles H Cecil Studios and at the Florence Academy of Art, where he was able to obtain knowledge thought to be almost lost. David Subsequently taught at both Charles H Cecil Studios and at the Florence Academy of Art. Today David resides in Los Angeles, where he enjoys working on his personal projects inspired by his surroundings.
