Growing up in a very creative home and have always having a great respect and love for art is what drove Maddie to pursue an art degree. While studying at Cal State Long Beach for her BA in Studio Art, Maddie took a metals class and found her passion in metalsmithing from the first class! After
graduating, she continued studying metalsmithing and slowly growing her
shop at home. In 2012, she founded Folk Dreams to share her passion and
creativity with others.
