Jeanette Alonso

Teaches at Yaymaker

Jeanette (also known by her nickname Jeanie) was born and raised in Chicago.  Her love for art started in high school when she enrolled in art class.  Jeanie won a bronze medal in an art competition her sophomore year.  She even enjoyed a little acting and participated in the Shakespeare competition plays performing soliloquies winning first place her sophomore and junior year, and second place her senior year.  Creating art continues to be a passion of hers now.  Jeanie enjoys crafting, using acrylic paint for her paintings, and she has recently taken an interest in sketching self-portraits.  She believes with all her heart that God has given her this ability, and is very excited to have the opportunity to share her passion of art with others.
