Google Analytics: Key Concepts and Quick Wins

My biggest disappointment was that there was so little time spent actually in Google Analytics. The first nearly 2 hrs of the class were about what GA can do theoretically but nothing practical or applicable. We spent a considerable time (30+ minutes) on A/B testing which obviously GA can help you report, but requires enormous technical implications, including setting up Ads for your website, etc., none of which anyone in the class had asked to learn. We were there for the basics, and A/B testing is pretty advanced in my opinion. My expectation is that we would go into GA, look at all the features of it and talk through each section. Then we would talk about what each section would do. Then we could speak theoretically about how to apply it. I was extremely disappointed.
