What you'll learn in this pastry class:

Have fun learning French Baking and Pastry: 
  • Pate Choux (Cream puffs), 
  • Eclairs, 
  • Roulade, 
  • Macarons, 
  • Tuile cookies, 
  • and Tartlets. 
Material fee includes ingredients needed for class. 

Students will bring some supplies from home.

Supply list from home: apron, scissors, 2 plastic bags, cloth for cleaning, paper towels, measuring spoons, measuring cups (metal or plastic), rubber spatula, rolling pin, & a whisk (if you own one). 

Note: Please mark your utensils with your name using a sharpie pen.

Refund Policy
Refund requests for classes/workshops must be made at least three (3) business days prior to the start date. All requests will be charged a $15 cancellation fee per person/per class. Refunds will NOT be granted if you cancel less than three (3) business days prior to the start date. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment or class cancellation, a refund will be issued promptly. Insufficient funds/returned checks are subject to a $25 service charge per check.

The Journalism building is located between the Math Wing and Writers Row (building 72). From Parking Lot E (off of Merrimac Way), walk between the Lewis Center for Applied Science building and the Consumer Science and Design building, continue walking to the left of Math Lecture, past the Math Wing and the next building is Journalism. Weekday parking is by permit only in metered lots. Meters are 50 cents for 1 hour or buy an all day parking permit at yellow ticket dispenser located at Fairview & Arlington, In the Merrimac parking lot, and in the Adams Parking Lot by Monitor Way for $3.00. You may also purchase a parking permit at the Bursar’s office for $30. Parking is FREE on weekends.
